Quick Review - Biobloom Jasmine Face Mist

I'm a sucker for face mists, especially when they are all organic and doesn't strip off natural oils off my skin. These days there are tremendous options out there for great face mist.
In one of my beauty Subscription boxes I received Biobloom Jasmine Face Mist. I have used few products from this brand earlier as well, especially its soaps are to die for. Products are free from Parabens, Formaldehde, Sulphates and petrochemicals. These products are natural ingredients based, not tested on animals and are environmental friendly as well.

Let's get into the quick review of the Jasmine Face Mist.

Shelf Life - 18 months

Ingredients- Jasmine Water, Flower extract, Purified Water and Sodium Benzoate.

Packaging - Comes in a transparent palm size bottle with spray pump. Super convenient to travel with.

My Experience. - I have been using this Mist for over 2 weeks now and i absolutely love its mild floral fragrance. It refreshes my face so well, all fatigue and dullness goes down the drain. Mist is not only therapeutic experience because of it aroma but it also helps in soothing and refreshing the skin without drying it out. I use it at least 2-4 times as day, Whenever I feel dull and saturated, this tiny mist helps in uplifting my mood and spirit.

It is bit on the expensive side but I feel it does its job really well.

I totally recommend it, especially for travel purposes.

Organic Harvest Fresh Mint shower Gel – Review and Price

Summer time and I can be in shower all day long, believe me – I’m not kidding. I give most time to my bathing routine and tell me who doesn’t like to feel fresh all day in this sweaty scorching heat.

I have tons of shower gels and I can’t get enough of them. Today again I’m reviewing one of the shower gel which I got fond of in past 2 weeks. – Organc Harvest Fresh Mint Shower gel.

Let’s hop on to review and find out what is so unique about the same.

Price – Rs 595 for 200 ml
Shelf Life – 2 years

Ingredients

Ecocert certified Decyl glucoside, peppermint oil, liquid shea butter and potassium sorbate in surfactant base.

Packaging – Comes in transparent sleek sturdy plastic packaging. It has Tic-tac cap which is quite tight as well. It dispenses just the right amount of product. But the packaging is bit bulky so won’t consider travelling with it.

Texture – Gel like consistency, neither too thick nor too runny – just right. I like the smooth and refreshing fragrance.

My Experience with Organic Harvest Fresh Mint Shower Gel

I take my sweet time taking a shower as I told you earlier. Whether soaps or shower gels, I’m addicted to my bathing products. After using this product, I’m absolutely in love with it.

Even though it is pricey but a little goes a long way, so I don’t even have complaints there. You just need a coin size amount of product on your loofah and you are sorted.

The fragrance doesn’t linger for long but the feeling of freshness stays for good 2-3 hours.  It is free from parabens, petrolatum, paraffin and other animal ingredients which is a huge plus point and it will suit all skin types as well.

This shower gel also helps in relieving stress because of presence mint, it leaves little cooling sensation behind as well.

Organic Harvest is a trusted brand and I have loved all its products in the past aswell. I’m glad I liked this one too.

Recommendation – For summers I would definitely give this one a big thumbs up. Suitable for all skin types and doesn’t dries out skin too. I definitely recommend this. And by the way this is a unisex shower gel, men in your life will enjoy it too.

Soultree Bhringraj and Methika in Virgin Coconut Oil- Review & Price

Do like to oil your hair? I know it conditions and make roots stronger but do you actually prefer to do so? Well in my case, it does relax me but I don’t like the greasiness it leaves behind. Moreover, oiling takes a lot of time as well. 

To curb all these cons of oiling (which are not really cons, but lazy attitude), I’m introducing to you all very fabulous oil hair oil from Soultree – Bhringraj and Methika in virgin coconut oil. Hair oil for wholesome nourishment.

Gulnar Strawberry Handmade Soap- Review and Experience.

Recently, I have started to experiment a lot with skin care products, especially handmade soaps. There is something very catchy and intriguing in using 100% natural organic handmade soaps.

I came across Gulnar as I received this lovely 50gm soap in one of my fab bag. This brand makes 100% safe soaps; no harmful and unnecessary chemicals are used. Mainly their soaps are glycerine based, but if your skin is extremely oily, then they have a whole range of soaps made with Fuller’s earth.

PRODUCT CLAIMS

Enjoy the lingering juicy goodness of this soap that looks and smells like a strawberry. Crafted using strawberry oil, dried strawberry leaves, purified water and glycerine base, this soap is an excellent cleanser.

Shelf Life – 2 years

QUANTITY- 150 gms.

PACKAGING- 

It comes in cellophane wrapped transparent packaging with a beautiful brand label around it.
It says about the ingredients used and an interesting trivia about strawberries is also mentioned on the label.

Brand Label also declares that soaps are

a)     Handmade by village artisans

b)    Brand is against animal testing and also

c)     Child labour.

My Experience

 I have been using this tiny soap for almost 10 days now and I can confidently say that my little dry skin loves it. Even though it doesn't form much lather but it cleanses the skin very well, leaving behind a soft juicy strawberry fragrance. The fragrance doesn't linger for long. 

As my skin is normal to dry, I can use this glycerine based soap even during the summers. Though I would prefer and suggest using any glycerine based soap during the cooler weather. 

Soap also contains strawberry leaves which exfoliate the skin really well without being harsh on it.

I really liked the soap but the high price for this quantity is quite a bummer.

VERDICT- I like the idea of using handmade natural soaps. This soap was definitely worth a try. As of now, I will try other brands offering handmade soaps; though will surely give a shot to Gulnar’s Fuller’s Earth based soaps.

I'm Back with the Part 2 of post for Just Herbs. In this post, I'm reviewing Petal Soft Anti-Tan Rose Face Pack, which is also their best selling product and is very famous too. So lets explore the reasons why.

Review is based on the Sample size product which I received here.

Fuller’s earth enhanced with skin lightening beauty herbs helps tone, texturise and rejuvenate the skin by maintaining skin elasticity. While Liquorice inhibits the melanin synthesis and soothes chronic inflammations and redness, Holy Basil and Rose protect from the effects of photo ageing due to their radiation protective properties. This pack effectively reduces skin darkening, protects from sun burn and other sun induced skin damage making the skin fairer with a soft petal perfection.

Free from petrochemicals, parabens, SLS/SLES PEG/PPG, Genetically modified ingredients (GMO) and other synthetic ingredients.

Just Herbs petal soft is 99.3% Natural, 100% Herbal actives. Made with certified organic ingredients and Paraben free.

Direction: Cleanse skin with cotton wool dipped in raw milk. Apply on face and neck for 20- 25 minutes.When dry, wash with lukewarm water while massaging with wet finger tips followed by a cold splash. 

My Experience

i have used this product for 4 times and now I think I'm in the right position to give a fair review of this amazing product. 

Well to begin with the packahging of the original product, it comes in the sturdy clear plastic tub container with golden screw cap. I find the packaging to be pretty convenient and is also travel- friendly.

The texture of the product is smooth and it spreads evenly on the face without much hassle. if the pack feels too thick then you can add few drops of rose water in it.

The fragrance of the pack is mildly rosey and does not linger for long.

Pack gives little tingly sensation on the affected areas.( I guess thats the point when you know that the pack is doing its job) which also doesnt last for long.

Once I was done with the cleansing of the pack I felt a bright change in my complexion. My skin feels more radiant and soft and it glows like anything the following morning. On the regukar usage of this pack, I realized that it really works on my tanned skin and also my complexion has improved. I have used this product for continuous 2 weeks (twice each week). Pack does not irritate my skin and also does not leaves it dry, like most of the mud packs do. 

I feel it is a wonder product. It is organic and is packed with is packed with all natural and ayurvedic ingredients. It works well for all skin type. 

Pros;

1) The pack sticks to what it claims 

2) Its chemical free

3) Not expensive for the quantity it serves 

4) Very effective in removing tan 

5) Spreads easily

6) Rejuvenating Mask

7) Convenient Packaging 

8) Does not dries out the skin 

Cons;

Needs to be consumed within 6 months of opening

Will I buy it again?

Yes of course. This pack  has actually helped me in removing my stubborn tan and has also brighten out my complexion. Its not harsh on skin, thus, I strongly recommend it.

How are you all doing?? Been so long that I've blogged, I miss you all. Well a lot of things are keeping me busy these days. Anyhow, I'm back with reviews of 2 amazing products from Just Herbs. This is the part one post for Lively Clean Honey Exfoliating Face Cleansing Gel

About The Product 

This every day-use foaming face cleansing gel is enriched with Neem, Holy Basil and Turmeric known for antiseptic properties. It provides gentle exfoliation with Arjuna, Symplocos bark and jojoba meal, banishes impurities from the clogged pores. It dissolves and eliminates dead epithelial cells exposing the tingling fresh clean skin beneath with the help of Orange peel. Gentle scrubbing stimulates blood circulation which detoxifies, oxygenates and activates skin immunity. Honey helps in maintaining moisture balance in the skin.

Packaging 

Well the packing of this miniature sample is just simple plastic bottle with the screw cap but that of the Main product is sturdy clear plastic bottle with a pump.

My Experience 

I have normal skin with no major issues, but during summers I get tanned way too easily, so I need a Product which helps me remove it but at the same time it should not be harsh on my skin. This product is just perfect for me considering the weather outside.
It is enriched with goodness of honey, neem, turmeric and Tulsi (Holy Basil).

- Honey Keeps the skin Hydrates and it also helps in removing tan

- Neem; Natural Antiseptic which helps in removing impurities. 

- Turmeric gives glow to skin and is also a natural antiseptic 

- Tulsi; Keeps you fresh and calm 

The colour of the product is light brown with small exfoliating granules. It has strong herbs fragrance at first but it does not linger at all; so it doesnt really bother me much. It does not lather much but it exfoliates the dead skin very well. It does not leave my skin dry. That means the product works well even for the people with dry skin.

Though it does not have any harsh effect but if you have any pimple or acne, then I would recommend you to not scrub it on them.

Pros- 

1) No Parabens or Sulfate 

2) All Natural Ingrediants .... a complete organic product 

3) It is a gentle exfoliator which helps in removing tan 

4) Its Hypo Alergic- Basically that means that it would all the skin types and even the sensitive skin without any fear of allergies 

5) No Animal Testing 

6) Easily available only at all major stores like Flipkart, snapdeal etc 

7) It Helps in rejuvenating and protecting the skin.

Cons-

1) Not a fan of its fragrance
2) Some might feel the immediate need of applying moisturizer ( if you have extremely dry skin)

Recommendation 

Go for this amazing organic product. Its quite affordable and its a complete value for money. I'm ordering my full size packaging too, will surely update it on  my instagram and twitter too.

They delivered me the Sample Kit within two days of receiving the payment.( Super quick!!). I've just started using the samples ( Day 1 it is ). So, I'll be back with the reviews of each of the samples.
