Today I’m going to review Denver Beer Shampoo!

As I have mentioned it earlier as well that I have normal scalp as well as normal to dry hair. This product though is a unisex product, but is mainly made for the one with oily scalp. The main ingredient in this shampoo is of course beer, which is known to boost volume and shine to the hair.

Beer is understood to possess extra ordinary conditioning property. Hence, Denver Beer Shampoo is a formula which contains real beer. Denver beer shampoo can be used daily for your hair to make them more smooth, strong and shiny.

Packaging – The shampoo bottle looks exactly like the beer pint. It is ideal for traveling purpose too.

Texture – The texture is mildly runny which looks extremely like beer itself. The smell is quite strong and pungent, though it doesn’t stays for long.

My Experience with Denver Beer Shampoo!

On the initial 2 usage I found the product to extremely amazing, but I was required to use the conditioner along with it as without it my hair was getting tangled a lot. One thing, I must say that this shampoo foams really well on the scalp and leave it squeaky clean. It also brings lost shine and volume to the hair.

But from the 2^nd day itself I started to feel that it making my dry hair even drier and brittle. So, I gave this bottle to my dad for him to try as it says that it meant for the oily scalp. He really enjoyed the product and can see real difference in his hair too. Smooth and shiny as he told me.

Overall Conclusion that I have reached to after using this product for 2 weeks is that if you have normal to dry or dry hair, give this one a miss. But if you have extremely oily scalp – This can be your next go to product. It’s affordable and is easily available.

Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil - Full Review and Price

Results - The word STILL gives me goosebumps.. Hehe! 

But today I don't think this examinee should be nervous at all because I'm happy to declare that Dabur VATIKA ENRICHED COCONUT HAIR OIL has passed with flying colors! WOO-HOO!! 

In case you are wondering why I spilled the beans in the first few lines only.. Here's why. 

Why I Said No to Hair Cuts?

Summer Time or Bored of the old style? New trends or 'new me'? Breakup? *gasps* 
What was your excuse for the last haircut? Or wait, let me rephrase the question - what veil of excuse did you use this time to chop the precious - but damaged-hair?

Let me share a secret with you. I'm not very well versed about gadgets. So, my dealing with all things technology is limited to what I’ve been told or what's in the user guide. For any technical issue that crops up my solution used to be - Switch off. *OK, fine. It still is my solution* 
But is this switch off (read: chopping your golden locks) the right solution or can we even call it a solution? 

Ignoring the main cause and running for a temporary concealer is not really a wise thing to do. Understanding the root cause and working accordingly is more likely to work.

Some say that a person's shoes speak a lot about his personality. For me I think it's the hair. 
I mean, com'on, the well managed (be it curls or wavy or straight) hair do show the care and time one gives to himself or herself. I do understand that in cities where the pollution level is quite high it's difficult to combat the effect on the body. BUT, difficult does not mean impossible. Monsoon and The Hair Woes

Hair more than just a body part - Its a precious jewelry !!

Hair plays various roles in our lives. From being your pride to your confidence, from playing to accessorizing. Some people show their adventurous side my coloring hair and others by sporting a new haircut every now and then. Our hair goes through so much pulling and tugging: courtesy - hairbands.

Nightmare -de- Frizziness!! 

And then comes the monsoon. It's a season for me where my sweaty hair attracts dust more than ever. The torture continues because I have a VERY oily scalp, which means I need to wash my hair daily ( I can’t think of a day when I can go without washing it). But the busy schedule of the week hardly ever gives me a chance to oil my hair before every wash. All this together used to take a toll on my hair by making it dull, dry, frizzy and lifeless. 

The day I saw 10-15 hair strands on my hair brush - it was heartbreaking - I knew it was high time to follow grandma's secret tips to save my precious hair. 
Mission started by taking a conscious decision of healthy eating. Not just protein intake, I made sure I had a balanced meal. 

A greasy scalp can become a reason for dandruff which also harms the hair right at its roots. To combat this I used onion juice on the weekend. Applying the juice on the scalp and letting in on for about 20 minutes before hair wash helps in getting a squeaky clean scalp. Onion juice is also known for increasing the fresh hair growth. 

With all this, I added one more step in my weekend regime. It is the champi with Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil. A head massage given by mumma is always so relaxing but the goodness of amla, heena and lemon in the oil makes my hair happy too! 
I've noticed how while washing my hair a non sticky glossy layer helps by not letting the shampoo strip excessive oil off the scalp which could result in an itch. It's been a few days since I've started using it. However, I'll be back with a full fledged review very soon.

Do like to oil your hair? I know it conditions and make roots stronger but do you actually prefer to do so? Well in my case, it does relax me but I don’t like the greasiness it leaves behind. Moreover, oiling takes a lot of time as well.

Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition;- Review and Experience

This is the part 2 of the #HappyHairChallenge that I took with Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition. Its been almost 6 weeks since I have been using this range. In this 45 days I have washed my hair with is range approx. 20 times as I don’t wash it on the daily basis. I can see major difference in the texture of my hair since the time I have started using this range.

My Hair feels tamed, silkier and smoother than ever before.

Keep reading as in this post I will give you a full review of this range.

Packaging, texture and product description are already been discussed in the Part 1 of the post. So, let’s directly move to review. 

REVIEW

The range that I have used was the normal sized one. As shampoo is runny in texture, you end up using more. So my shampoo lasted just around 15 washes. But conditioner on the other hand, is quite thick and creamy; I still have almost 25% of the product still left from my first bottle itself.

Shampoo lathers really nicely, cleansing the scalp well, removing all the buildup and polluted oils while retaining the natural oils. If you are taking deep condition hair oil treatment before the wash then you can even skip the conditioner as the shampoo itself provides deep nutrition to the hair and scalp. I feel my hair is much stronger and shinier than before. As this range definitely tames the frizz, hair ends up looking healthy but still I haven’t seen much difference in hair fall. 

Breakage and dullness has certainly reduced though.

The contributing factor to well tamed, healthier and shinier looking hair goes to conditioner as well. I’m absolutely in love with the conditioner. It leaves the hair soft and well nourished. My hair is quite manageable now and it doesn't tangle easily. Even though the conditioner is quite thick and rich yet it doesn't weigh down my hair.

Pros

3)    Cleanses the scalp easily without drying it.

5)    Tames and controls frizzy hair

11)    Split ends are not much noticeable as it seals them well

Cons

1)    Not any noticeable difference in hair fall

2)    Shampoo doesn't last long .. mine lasted for just 14 washes

Rating – 4/5

RECOMMENDATION- If you have hair like me, I.e. normal to dry hair then this range will definitely work for you. I have virgin hair, So I cannot comment how well it works on chemically treated hair. I'm really happy that I took this #HappyHairChallenge as this product turn out to be an amazing one. I have already bought bigger shampoo bottle and another regular size conditioner after observing its impressive results.

Where did January go? It felt as if January lasted just 5 seconds. 2015 certainly started with the bang; Bad Health, apartment moving, best friend’s wedding, work and more stress. Ahh Stress … one thing which has the ability to create mess in your life. If I leave behind the mental agony and emotional/physical discomfort that I have gone through in last month, still I would find plenty of reasons to still stress on. For example my skin and my hair!!

Most of us really do love winters, even do I but it creates havoc for skin and hair. They need that extra protection and care in this dry season. Honestly, I didn’t have time to even look myself in mirror, forget making any special/extra efforts to take care of them.

Skin was still taken care of, thanks to the night routine that I follow of which I would be talking in detail in the upcoming post, but it was my Hair that was constantly giving me nightmares.

And then the Miracle happened – As if Garnier knew that I’m going through Hair-troubles and they sent me my life saviour – Garnier Triple Nutrition Shampoo and conditioner. So let’s find out how effective this hair-care solution is for me?

Major Hair concerns

I have normal to dry hair but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have any major hair problems, due to health issues and extreme winters my hair has suffered a lot. It is lost the sheen and look much drier than it ever was. Dryness leads to hair fall as well, so that was another big concern.

Lately, I have also realized that I have quite some spilt ends as well which makes my hair look drier and dull.

I have been using Garnier Triple Nutrition Range for around 18 days now, in which I have washed my hair 7 times with this range and the After math of using this range is just brilliant. I have regained that shine and the smoothness that I had in it. Hair looks much more manageable and healthier than before. In just single wash shampoo shows its effect on your hair. I normally dilute the shampoo, so most of the time only single wash is enough but when you it on oiled hair, you might have to go for the second wash as well.

I love the conditioner. It is creamy and smooth but not very thick, which is good as it doesn’t weight downs my hair. After just one application, my hair was quite manageable, tangle free and had nice shine to it. You can even use the conditioner on your scalp (Company claims) though I never use the conditioner on scalp.

Packaging of the Range

Shampoo and Conditioner in cute yellow color signature Garnier Fructis packaging. Both Shampoo and conditioner are white in colour. The consistency of Shampoo is pretty much same as that of any shampoo but that of conditioner is quite thick but not as rich as hair masks are.

This Range is conveniently priced at Rs 135/each for 175 ml.

Neither of it makes my hair weight down; on the contrary, I feel my hair looks voluminous and bouncy. Even though the shampoo alone works wonders but I would recommend to use conditioner with every single wash to keep hair more manageable and smooth. Conditioner provides moisture and much required hydration to my dry/brittle hair.

This range is infused with the goodness of three nourishing oils of olive, coconut and almond. The Vitamin E from these oils helps in moisturizing the scalp and to get rid of the dryness.

Fragrance

I love the fragrance of this range, it is the blend of signature Garnier Fructis fragrance and lemon. They lemony smell isn’t too overpower, but it is quite long lasting. Your hair will smell fresh and pretty amazing until the next wash for sure.

Overall, after using this range for more than 2 weeks, I can say that I’m happy that I took this challenge as this decision has come out to be quite useful for my hair. My hair looks shinier, smoother and more manageable.
