As I mentioned earlier at the beginning of this year that during this winters I will be experimenting with a lot of body lotions and body butters. So today I have VLCC Cocoa Butter Body Lotion.  Read on to know whether it work wonder during harsh winters or not.

Packaging-  A tall sleek, plastic bottle with flip cap. It’s not bulky and is also travel friendly.

Texture- Lotion is milky white which is quite runny and not too thick. Even though the main ingredient is cocoa butter, it doesn’t smell of the same. It has peculiar fragrance which is reminds of some kind of medicine. I’m not a fan of its fragrance but because it is not overpowering and doesn’t linger for long, I don’t mind it either.

My Experience with VLCC Cocoa Butter Body Lotion

Just before Christmas I went to stay with my friends for the holiday season, during that time I picked this lotion and I have been using it for quite some time now. It gets absorbed into skin quite easily. And because it has SPF, I use it mainly during the day time.
I have serious dry skin. I feel this lotion is very light for the kind of hydration that is required during winters. Even though it has cocoa butter, olive oil and shea butter, it is neither heavy in texture nor it is moisturizing enough.
It is an affordable lotion and I would be using it more frequently during a little warmer season.

Affordable
Light consistency
It is non-greasy
Comes with an SPF of 15 and UVA and UVB protection.
Smell is not overpowering

Cons

          Not hydrating enough for winters

          I don’t like the smell (personal preference)

Will I repurchase or recommend it?

Yes, I will. I like this light weight moisturizer, its just that it is not great for winters. If you are looking for light moisturizer which gets absorbed into skin quickly and is affordable as well, go for it. Bonus- It has SPF for sun protection as well .

As I mentioned in my Nivea Body lotion review, this winters I will be reviewing a lot of body lotions and butters. So here I'm back with a product which is making a lot buzz in the market - Organic Harvest Body Lotion.

Texture - Lotion is white in color, has a very light consistency and is milky smooth in texture. Fragrance is floral and quite mild. I'm not really a fan of the fragrance though.

My Experience with Organic Harvest Body Lotion

I have been using this body lotion for a while, it is very light moisturizer and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. It gives smooth and soft feel to the skin without making it look greasy. This moisturizer requires frequent application during winters; I feel this is an apt lotion for summers when you need hydration for long hours without feeling sticky.

Cons- 

Requires frequent application, not fit for winters.

Will I repurchase? Maybe but in summers. It is expensive for my taste.

Winter is at its full swing and I stress enough on having a moisturized skin. I hate dry, flaky skin and my skin majorly is dry in its nature. More than makeup, I love to spend on skin care products. I'm trying a lot of new and old moisturizers this winter. So stay tuned and I'll be reviewing a lot of lotions and moisturizers soon. 

Today I’m reviewing Nivea nourishing lotion for very dry skin.

Packaging- Comes in a stylish tall bottle. It is opaque and not travel friendly. But the flip-open is quite tight and hence, there are no troubles with leakage as well. 

Texture & Fragrance - Lotion is white in colour, its neither too thick nor too runny. It has mild signature Nivea fragrance, It doesn't linger for long. 

My Experience. 

I have been using this body lotion for 2 seasons now. For my dry skin, it is perfect after bath lotion. It leaves my skin moisturized and glowing. I don't use this particular lotion in warm or hot weather, as it feels too heavy on the skin. Even though my skin is super dry, I don't have to re-apply this lotion for almost 12- 16 hours and even if I forget to do so, my skin doesnt feel flaky at all.

It has a light formula which gets absorbed into the skin very easily. For a body lotion, it does it job really well even in the harsh dry weather.

Nivea nourishing body milk lotion with almond oil is affordable choice which is easily available as well. I would also like to mention that because the fragrance is mild, it makes a wonderful unisex product for skin care. All men in my family uses this particular variant only.
